Internxt Review: The Most Secure Google Drive Alternative

Did you know that Google collects an astonishing amount of personal data about you every time you use its services?

From your search history and location data to browsing habits, Google’s data collection practices are far more extensive than most people realize. Privacy advocates have raised alarms about the company’s vast data gathering, which extends across its popular platforms like Chrome, Google Search, YouTube, and Google Maps.

Google gathers stored information to create detailed user profiles monetized through targeted advertising. In other words, Google is turning your personal data into a profitable commodity. That’s not cool!

While Google claims this data collection improves user experience, it raises significant privacy concerns. As people become more aware of these practices, many seek alternatives to protect their online privacy and maintain control over their personal data.

Luckily, some excellent cloud storage services are breaking onto the scene that prioritizes user privacy and data security. One of the newest and most reliable ones I’ve encountered is Internxt!

Internxt is a secure, privacy-focused cloud storage service based in Spain. To protect user data, it offers end-to-end encryption and a zero-knowledge policy.

In this Internxt review, I’ll discuss what it is, who it’s best for, and its key features. Then, I’ll show you how I used Internxt to securely upload and organize my files while ensuring maximum privacy and data protection. Their incredibly user-friendly interface made the process quick and easy.

I’ll finish the article by comparing Internxt with my top three alternatives (Tresorit, Sync, and Google Drive). The goal is that by the end, you’ll know if Internxt is right for you!

I decided to upload screenshots from a past article I had written. Within a few seconds, Internxt successfully uploaded them!

I also tried uploading a ten-minute screen recording that was 52MB by dragging and dropping it onto the Internxt interface. Uploading a larger video file took a bit longer, which was expected, but it still only took a few seconds!

Top 3 Internxt Alternatives

Here are the best Internxt alternatives I’d recommend you consider.

Tresorit

The first Internxt alternative I’d recommend is Tresorit. I love Tresorit because it combines excellent security with file versioning for comprehensive protection and easy recovery of previous file versions.

Internxt and Tresorit prioritize user privacy and data security with end-to-end encryption and zero-knowledge protocols. However, Tresorit offers additional features like encrypted email and advanced e-signature solutions. These things are crucial for businesses that require comprehensive security across different communication forms.

While Internxt provides a user-friendly interface and lifetime plans for cost efficiency, Tresorit supports file versioning, allowing you to recover previous files. File versioning is a feature Internxt lacks, making Tresorit a better choice for those needing access to their file history.

If you’re looking for a cloud storage service with extensive security features like encrypted emails and e-signatures with file versioning, Tresorit is an excellent choice. On the other hand, if you need maximum storage space with solid security and one-time payment lifetime plans, Internxt is best!

Sync

The next Internxt alternative I’d recommend is Sync. Sync excels with its seamless file syncing, sharing, and collaboration features!

Both platforms prioritize security. Internxt offers robust end-to-end encryption and a zero-knowledge policy, while Sync provides secure cloud storage with enterprise-grade infrastructure and privacy protection.

Internxt stands out for its up to 10TB of storage and lifetime subscription plans, but it may be slower with large files and lacks file versioning. Sync, on the other hand, prioritizes collaboration and robust backup features. It also offers 5GB of free storage, while Internxt only provides 1GB.

Sync is an excellent choice if you’re looking for a user-friendly interface, high security, and efficient collaboration tools. It’s a favorite for those seeking a reliable, secure cloud storage solution! For those who value a highly secure, privacy-focused platform with the highest amount of storage space, Internxt is the best choice.

The final Internxt alternative I’d recommend (the one we’re all most familiar with) is Google Drive. What I love most about Google Drive is its seamless integration with other Google services, collaboration features, and user-friendly interface.

Google Drive offers 15GB of free storage, making it a more generous option than Internxt’s 1GB free plan. Unlike Internxt, it also includes file versioning and supports extensive app integrations for enhanced productivity.

However, Google Drive raises privacy concerns as Google collects extensive personal data across its services and uses this information for targeted advertising. Despite its security measures, you should know that your data is subject to Google’s broad data collection practices.

If you’re looking for maximum privacy and a long-term storage solution, Internxt’s robust security and lifetime plans are perfect. On the other hand, if you value seamless collaboration, generous free storage, and free access to the suite of Google apps, Google Drive is the better choice.

Internxt Review: The Right Tool For You?

Having explored Internxt and what it offers, I appreciate its strong emphasis on privacy and user control. Its end-to-end encryption and zero-knowledge policy make it a reliable choice for those prioritizing security.

It also comes with generous storage options and lifetime plans for those who don’t want to add another monthly subscription to existing commitments. You can store files up to 10TB, the most I’ve seen from any other cloud storage service! Internxt is an excellent choice for those looking for extensive file storage space.

I was also impressed by how user-friendly the Internxt interface was. It’s accessible across all devices (phone, tablet, and computer), making file management and sharing convenient. However, due to its high-security measures, be prepared for slower file syncing. Either way, Internxt is an excellent choice for those who value security and long-term storage solutions.

If Internxt isn’t quite the right fit for you, here are the best alternatives I’d recommend:

  • Tresorit: Offers comprehensive security with advanced file versioning.
  • Sync: Provides seamless file syncing and robust collaboration tools.
  • Google Drive: Includes generous free storage and extensive integrations with various free Google apps.

Thanks for reading my Internxt review! I hope you found it helpful. When you create an account, Internxt offers 1GB free forever. Why not try it for yourself and see how you like it?
