Avatar: The Last Airbender Skins Now Available In Fortnite

After Korra of The Legend of Korra fame made her debut in Fortnite this season, her predecessors have now joined her. Avatar: The Last Airbender’s Aang, Katara, Zuko, and Toph land in Fortnite this week.
Katara, Zuko, and Toph are available for purchase now. These additions coincide with the Avatar: Elements event that begins Friday, April 12, at 9 a.m. ET.
Although Aang doesn’t fully appear in the trailer, he’ll become available as part of the event pass (thanks, Forbes) with he and Toph looking a bit taller than they do on the show (likely to fit the game’s hitboxes). Aang also comes with a separate Avatar State skin.

How artificial intelligence is revolutionizing cyber security – CyberTalk

By Shira Landau, Editor-in-Chief, CyberTalk.org.
In recent years, artificial intelligence (AI) has become one of the most sure-fire and strategic tools available for cyber security professionals. Due to the increasing sophistication of cyber attacks, cyber security experts have broadly turned to AI in order to enhance abilities to detect and prevent cyber threats.
As it stands, nearly 50% of enterprises are already using a combination of artificial intelligence and machine learning tools to improve cyber security outcomes, and 92% of organizations plan to adopt these types of tools in the future.
Powerful AI technology is particularly useful for identifying and mitigating security threats that are difficult or impossible to detect manually, such as zero-day exploits, polymorphic malware, and advanced persistent threats. AI-based tools can also help streamline tasks, lower costs, augment under-resourced operations and enable security professionals to work ‘smarter.’
Are you ready to take your organization’s cyber security to the next level? With AI, you can stay ahead of the curve and protect your organization from the most advanced of cyber threats. In this article, explore the incredible ways in which AI is enhancing and revolutionizing cyber security and the digital world.
Key information
- A spike in cyber attacks has helped fuel market growth for AI-based cyber security products.
- The global market for AI-based cyber security products is estimated to reach $133.8 billion by 2030.
- AI-based tools enable cyber security professionals to work smarter and more efficiently than is otherwise possible.
How AI is revolutionizing cyber security
1. Threat detection. One of the most significant challenges that cyber security professionals face is the sheer volume of data that they need to sift through. Given the number of internet-connected devices (IoT growth is projected to reach 3.22 billion in North America alone in 2023), there is a seemingly insatiable appetite for data processing.
Artificial intelligence technology is extremely helpful when it comes to efficiently and accurately analyzing large volumes of data, rendering AI an essential tool for cyber security professionals. Algorithms can quickly analyze patterns in data to identify threats and to detect anomalous behavior.
2. Automation. AI is also being deployed in order to automate and streamline aspects of cyber security. In turn, this enables cyber security professionals to focus on investigating and mitigating complex threats, while AI takes care of tedious or monotonous basic tasks.
3. Machine learning. Another advantage of AI-powered cyber security systems consists of its ability to learn from past attacks and to improve on existing threat detection capabilities.
By looking at data from past attacks, machine learning algorithms can identify patterns, and then actually develop new and sophisticated detection methods. Over time, this development makes breaching systems tougher for cyber criminals.
4. Insider threats. Artificial intelligence is particularly useful in cyber security when it comes to detecting and responding to insider threats. These threats are tricky to detect, as the individuals involved always have legitimate access to a given network.
Nonetheless, AI-powered systems can analyze user behavior, and thereby identify patterns that indicate an insider threat. Such patterns can then be flagged for further investigation.
5. Endpoint security. AI is also being used to enhance endpoint security. Traditional endpoint security solutions rely on signature-based detection, which involves identifying known threats and blocking them. But this approach is losing its effectiveness.
AI-powered endpoint security solutions leverage machine learning algorithms to identify anomalous behavior and to detect previously unknown threats. This approach is more effective than what traditional endpoint security solutions can offer, as it can identify threats that would otherwise remain unnoticed.
6. Finally, AI is being used to improve threat intelligence. By analyzing large volumes of data from disparate sources, AI-powered threat intelligence solutions can zero in on potential threats and offer early warnings around new types of attacks. This information can then be used to develop optimally effective cyber security strategies and to advance the overall security posture of an organization.
In conclusion
AI is revolutionizing the field of cyber security by providing cyber security professionals with the tools that they need to detect, prevent and respond to cyber threats.

Destiny 2: The Final Shape Includes New Prismatic Subclass, Enemy Faction, Exotics, And More
Bungie has released a new trailer for Destiny 2’s next expansion, The Final Shape, and it includes gameplay of Guardians wielding both light and darkness at once, new weapons and enemies, and more. This trailer was part of a wider information blitz surrounding The Final Shape, which promises to conclude the decade-long War of Light and Darkness story arc, where we also learned more about The Witness and additional exotics.
Unveiled last August and originally set to launch in February before getting delayed to June 4, The Final Shape is shaping up (pun intended) to be one of the biggest expansions for Destiny 2 yet. It’s fitting, considering the story players have been enjoying for 10 years is set to wrap up in it.
Check out the Destiny 2: The Final Shape gameplay trailer for yourself below:

“Alongside the three new Light Supers previously announced [Twilight Arsenal for Titans, Storm’s Edge for Hunters, and Song of Flame for Warlocks], Guardians will wield the Light and Darkness together for the first time to unleash the Prismatic subclass,” a press release reads. “This subclass introduces new options to enhance and customize each playstyle with the combination of multiple element types.”
Bungie says each class will get a unique grenade that combines multiple subclass elements, too: Warlocks will get a Stasis/Void grenade, Titans a Strand/Arc grenade, and Hunters will get a Solar/Stasis grenade.
For the first time ever in Destiny 2 history, in The Final Shape, players will be able to equip an exotic class item – meaning Hunter’s cloaks, Titan’s marks, and Warlock’s bonds – with exotic-level perks. These perks will be randomized, according to Bungie, taking two features from existing exotic class items (including some belonging to other classes).

The new Dread enemy faction will terrorize Guardians at the behest of The Witness (pictured above) with never-before-seen abilities. Alongside Tormentors and Subjugators, The Witness will unleash new Grim, Husk, Attendant, and Weaver units:
- Grim: A highly mobile flying enemy that slows and suppresses a Guardian’s abilities if they get too close.
- Husk: An acrobatic melee bruiser that sends a deployable geist enemy toward you unless you hit their weak spot with a final blow.
- Attendant and Weaver: By wielding Stasis and Strand, respectively, these units can instantly change the flow of the encounter and force Guardians to pay attention to their positioning on the battlefield.
These enemies, exotics, the new Prismatic subclass, and more will be available with the launch of The Final Shape on June 4. In the meantime, you can jump into the game’s latest update – Into the Light – starting today.
This new two-month update features the new wave-defense Onslaught activity, fan-favorite weapons with standard and limited-edition variants, the new Hall of Champions social space, reprised Zero Hour and The Whisper exotic missions, a raid boss gauntlet called the Pantheon, new rewards, and more.

Cover Reveal – Star Wars Outlaws
This month, Star Wars Outlaws graces the cover of Game Informer. Regardless of your history with the series, there’s no denying the impact that Star Wars has had in the pop culture landscape. The Original Trilogy inspired countless other pieces of media and the subsequent releases have all been noteworthy for one reason or another. But it was the Original Trilogy that developer Massive Entertainment – the team behind games like The Division, The Division 2, and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora – chose to make its playground. We traveled to the coastal city of Malmö, Sweden, to learn all about the open-world scoundrel adventure set in a galaxy far, far away.
Our cover art this month, provided by Massive Entertainment, shows the protagonists of the story, Kay Vess and her companion Nix, in a cantina, presumably accepting a job. Cantinas serve as the gathering place for the types of seedy individuals Kay and Nix seek out for work. On the back cover, we get a glimpse of one of the criminal factions Kay can accept jobs for: the Pyke Syndicate. You can learn more about Kay, Nix, the syndicates they interact with, the Reputation System, and plenty more in our 12-page cover story of Star Wars Outlaws!

But that’s not all that’s housed within this latest issue of Game Informer! Marcus Stewart visited Bandai Namco in Irvine, California, to get his hands on Sand Land, the anticipated action title from ILCA. Speaking of the great Akira Toriyama, Kyle Hilliard takes some time in the issue to pay tribute to the legendary manga and anime icon. On the topic of hot-button issues, Wesley LeBlanc spoke with several game developers who are using artificial intelligence in different ways to learn their reasoning and try to grasp the ethics of doing so. Zachary Avery interviewed the team behind indie publishing label Finji (as well as several developers that have published under Finji) and wrote an in-depth profile, while Marcus Stewart spoke with the developers behind the hit Poker-inspired roguelite Balatro about its runaway success. Finally, I traveled to Los Angeles, California, to catch up with the director and producer of Street Fighter 6 and attend Capcom Cup X to see the first-ever $1 million grand prize get handed out.
That’s on top of our standard preview suite. In this issue, you’ll read previews for Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, Dune: Awakening, Kingmakers, MechWarrior 5: Clans, TopSpin 2K25, and more!
Here’s a closer look at the cover:

Star Wars Outlaws Release Date Set For August, New Story Trailer Shown

Today, Massive Entertainment and Ubisoft released a story trailer for their anticipated action title, Star Wars Outlaws. The game received a lot of hype when it was first revealed during last summer’s Xbox Games Showcase and its subsequent gameplay footage during a Ubisoft Forward stream the next day. Today’s story trailer not only gave us more to whet our appetite but also let us know when we’ll finally be able to step into the role of Kay Vess as we navigate the Star Wars underworld.
Star Wars Outlaws puts you in the role of Kay Vess, a pickpocket turned thief who gets mixed up with Sliro, the leader of Zerek Besh, a new criminal syndicate. Sliro places a bounty on Kay’s head, and Kay and Nix have one shot at freedom: pulling off the ultimate heist. Together, Kay and Nix must navigate the criminal underworld, managing their reputations with various criminal organizations, including the Pyke Syndicate, the Hutt Cartel, the Ashiga Clan (a new syndicate created for this game in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games), and Crimson Dawn.
Kay and Nix’s adventure will take them to various planets and moons, including Tatooine, Akiva, Kijimi, Canto Bight, and the newly created moon, Toshara. These planets and moons house busy cities and cantinas, sprawling open-world areas to explore, and orbital areas Kay and Nix can explore using her ship, the Trailblazer. While in the Trailblazer, Kay can engage in chases, evasive maneuvers, and dogfights with the Empire or other enemies she makes along the way.
“In search of true freedom, the resourceful Kay and Nix will journey through the underworld across the Outer Rim, taking on jobs from syndicates, facing off against intimidating foes, avoiding oppressive Imperial rule, and recruiting a skilled outlaw crew in order to pull off one of the greatest heists the galaxy has ever seen,” creative director Julian Gerighty said in a press release.
You can see the story trailer below.

“Star Wars Outlaws invites fans to experience a side of the galaxy that has a treasure trove yet to be explored, the exploits of the scoundrels taking advantage of the golden age of the underworld,” vice president of Lucasfilm Games Douglas Reilly said in that same press release. We’ve been inspired by Massive Entertainment’s dedication to bringing this aspect of Star Wars to life, including both iconic and new things for fans to explore in an open world.”
The upcoming title features three different versions. The Standard Edition includes the base game for $70. Meanwhile, the Gold Edition adds the Season Pass, which consists of two pieces of DLC, the exclusive “Jabba’s Gambit” mission at launch, the “Kessel Runner Character Pack” cosmetic pack, and up to three days of early access. The Ultimate Edition includes all that, plus the Sabacc Shark Bundle (cosmetics for Kay, her blaster, Nix, Kay’s speeder, and Kay’s ship), the Rogue Infiltrator Bundle (cosmetics for the same items as the Sabacc Shark Bundle), and a digital art book.
Star Wars Outlaws arrives on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on August 30. If you’d like to learn more, we’ve got you covered! We recently traveled to Malmö, Sweden, to spend several hours with the developers and get our hands on the game. You can read more in the cover story of our newest issue or by visiting our exclusive coverage hub through the banner below in the coming weeks.
Former Halo, Destiny Lead Working On Unreal Engine 5 Competitive Multiplayer Game
ProbablyMonsters, an independent game company founded in 2016 by former Bungie president and CEO Harold Ryan, has created a new team to develop a competitive multiplayer game in Unreal Engine 5. Led by former Bungie leader Chris Opdah, who has more than 20 years of experience as a game developer working on franchises like Halo and Destiny, Hidden Grove is the new team within ProbablyMonsters working on this multiplayer project.
“At Hidden Grove, it’s not just about developing something different in the field of competitive multiplayer games – it’s about doing it better as a team,” Opdahl writes in a press release. “We believe that great games start with great teams, and we’re building a creative atmosphere where artists, engineers, and creators can come together and thrive.”

ProbablyMonsters says Opdahl founded Hidden Grove with two design directors – Raylene Deck and Grant Mackay – both of whom worked together on Destiny. “They’re supported by a full leadership team of world-building, engineering, and production veterans, including executive producer Lori Ada Kilty, art director Jedd Chevrier, senior engineering director Dean Johnson, and narrative director Kate Welch,” a press release reads. “Together, they bring significant AAA experience spread across Halo, Destiny, Mass Effect, Dungeons & Dragons, and more.”
Hidden Grove says it is hiring, and seeking diverse, motivated, highly skilled people “who share their passion for bringing something new into the world.”

Hidden Grove
As for what to expect of Hidden Grove’s first game, all ProbablyMonsters has shared is that it’s a competitive multiplayer “adventure game” using Unreal Engine 5.
Additionally, ProbablyMonsters has a new chief product officer in Adam Rymer. He will report directly to ProbablyMonsters founder and CEO Harold Ryan.
“Our definition of product isn’t just the games here at ProbablyMonsters; it’s also the design of the teams themselves,” Rymer writes in a press release. “Beyond Hidden Grove, we have unannounced development projects that I’m excited for us to share in the future.”
What kind of game do you hope Hidden Grove creates? Let us know in the comments below!
